The Dutch Green Building Council (DGBC) was founded in 2008 in The Netherlands as a market initiative, Maarten has been with DGBC from the beginning. BREEAM-NL, the adapted English method, has now been widely accepted by the Dutch market, and DGBC is now supporting the development in other European countries. The aim is one standard for sustainability in Europe.
