NATAŠA PERKOVIĆ

Nataša Perković was born in Sarajevo in 1984 and has been working as a product designer since 2006. She graduated from the Department of Product Design at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Sarajevo in 2008, where she is currently employed as a Teaching Assistant.
She is based in sarajevo, but has had international experience, including an internship at The Partners, a leading London-based communication design and branding agency, participation in UNIDEE - University of Ideas, an international creative residency program
at Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto in Italy, as well as involvement in design projects in the area of product, furniture, exhibition and graphic design.
Nataša Perković has participated in several international exhibitions, including D&AD New Blood, Future Point of the IMM Cologne Furniture Fair, Torino World Design Capital (ICSID) and Fuori Salone of the Milan Furniture Fair. Among several international design awards she has received, she favors D&AD Best New Blood 2007.
Her focus is on using design as a means of adressing and engaging in cultural, social and environmental issues of our time. In that light, she initiated an inclusive design project called All Inclusive Sarajevo and developed this project with Josip Lovrenović, Julia Cassim of the Royal College of Art Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design and the British Council. The project has been exhibited and presented in several countries and at several events, including Include 2011, the leading academic conference on inclusive design held in London.
